Continuing our game from last week...

Hey guys,

Looks like we are going to pick up where we left out before it starting raining last week. Game will start at 7 but we will probably be finished quickly if we all want to go to the bar afterwards. The new bar is Bryan Street Tavern (in deep ellum, really close to the fields on our way back to uptown).

Let me know if you can't make it tomorrow! So far I've just got Natalie and Steve as not being able to make it...

I have t-shirts for everyone who missed last week. I will attempt to remember to wash them tonight since they got soaked in the rain haha. no promises.

I had been wondering why week 1 stats weren't up yet when I checked a couple days ago to draft my first stats report. Makes sense now. Free some balls tomorrow!!

I thought that the other team forfeit!  We shouldn't have to finish that game.  Also, do we not have another complete game for this week?

Haha when did they forfeit? We all kind of ran from the rain at the same time....

And no, we don't have another complete game because the later games didn't even play so those are happening this week. We just finish what we started, then get to go drink. boom!

So the ump said that we were going to suspend play after our inning up at bat ended.  Before that happened, they ran in, with one kid saying that we won - they didn't want to play anymore.  If we don't have another game then I'd rather play, but I thought we were continuing on the same schedule.  Makes sense this way tho.
