Spring Kickball?

FRIENDS. Happy 2014! 

I just got an email from our favorite league...spring registration opens this week! I think I've talked to almost everyone and they seemed in to sign up, but wanted to get the group poll since we are losing a few kiddos to colder weather/Fort Worth (Massey and Sara can you play kickball in negative degrees?/JENNIFER AND JAKE WHYYY). Anyways here's the info:

League Start:Thursday, March 6, 2014   

End: Thursday, April 24, 2014 (Tentative)

Locations: 

Samuel Grand Park (Grand / I-30 Area)

Hamilton Park (Forest / 75 Area)

Northway Christian Church (Northpark Mall area) - Restricted league - Must have 12 registrants before league is available

Do we want to do Sam Grand again? Apparently Hamilton Park is actually off of the toll road and NOT 75 so we could do that also? Or we could try and join the crazy kids at Northway and all buy cleats? Kidding - holla back if you're opposed to Sam Grand!

Here's who I've got on da list, it's 6 girls and 9 ish guys: Adam, Brooks, Natalie, Brit, Me, Swoyer, Staiger, Steph Jack, Wyper, Steve, Cam, Travis? (Where are you?), Michael, Oliver, Tripp?

If you don't want to play, let me know also so we can find some more peeps! Who aren't 30 year old randos who chain smoke and tear both of their hamstrings the first game. For those of you who missed that, it actually happened.

Nice! So we have 15 then (Tripp is going to play as well!) so we can sign up. Registration opened today...let me know if for some reason we don't want to do Sam Grand, and I'll get us registered.

Purple shirts? Green shirts? branch out? How many difference colored/types of kickball shirts can we get haha

All, I regret to inform you that I will be taking a hiatus from kickball for the spring session.  

Unfortunately, I am pretty slammed during this period and would probably only be able to make 2-3 games this season so I'm going to hold onto the 50 bucks and am happy to sub in when I can and you guys need me.

I'll be back in the summer though! Brooks...goodluck on the rubber my friend, hold it down!

Super pumped about this season! If Natalie can't play, though, we are going to need some chicas!

Right now, it's me, Staiger, Steph and Brit for sure. Even if Natalie can play (hope you can!!), it couldn't hurt to add a few girls to the roster...if any of you think of someone to ask, let us know! I think registration closes on the 19th, so we have a few days to add. Just don't want to end up with a bunch of randos again...
