Key Skills: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
Huge Plus: SOAP UI
Required Skills:
• 4 + years of experience testing business intelligence solutions and related components
• 3+ years experience in testing web services, preferably with a large scale e-commerce system
• Expert in the Test definition, test design, test documentation, test execution, test coverage traceability and the test process.
• Experience writing testing cases for web services using SoapUI
• Strong experience with MS SQL server databases and Financials
• Knowledge of architectural tool components, dashboards
• Skills in data warehouse methodology; data analysis, modeling and design; and ETL testing using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2005/2008.
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional data models, as well as relational databases and excellent SQL skills.
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services Cubes (SSAS) is required.
• Understanding of data rollups/aggregation, capacity planning, data standardization, slowly changing dimensions and data security
• Ability to design and execute test scripts and plans for unit, integration, regression and UAT testing processes
• Excellent Documentation skills from a technical and Analytical set of documentation scope related to the testing team and its efforts.
• Experience working with Source control systems, Vault / Subversion or similar.
• Experience working with Agile Project Management tools, Mingle or similar.
• Experience a plus but not required – Ant, Jenkins
• Experience working with defect management tools and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and be a great team player.
• Must demonstrate a flexibility to multi task and able to handle multiple priorities at the same time not compromising on Quality levels.
