Production Support
Database Refresh
Performance tuning
Assignment Duties:
Perform Database Administration involving operational support of highly critical business application systems.
This includes analysis, design and construction of databases, diagnosis of production problems, providing workable solutions to problems, perform DB2 monitoring.
Act as an expert in the DBA space, with in-depth knowledge of DB2-LUW DBMS.
Responsibilities: Be part of a 7 X 24 oncall rotation assignment, Be a team player, Be flexible, Demonstrate good work ethics, Provide your own high speed internet access and PC with anti-virus/spam protection, from home for remote connectivity, Assigned primary and backup responsibility for applications. Skills Required: DB2-LUW, Unix Shell Scripting
Skills Preferred: Oracle V11G, MS-SQL Server Looking for a go-getter DBA with excellent skills in UDB-DB2 with experience in Data Modeling. Definately experience in Oracle and Sql Server
