SQL Server DBA
ATL, GA (f2f is required)
6-12 mths (only,Citizens)
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related scientific or technical degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years SQL Server experience as a DBA.
• Experienced in TSQL Development, SQL Server 2008 R2, and Database Modeling.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issue, blocking and deadlocking, replication, log shipping, connectivity and security issues.
• Performance Tuning, Query, Optimization, Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
• Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery, database shrink operations, DBSS commands, clustering, mirroring, replication.
• Report writing and generation with SQL Server reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
