Staff has contacted the Attorney General's office in an effort to find
out what role, if any, their office has in the PATH review. AG staff
has advised it is unlikely they will be involved in the proceeding.
Historically, the Office rarely participates in transmission cases.
They do; however, appreciate our concerns relative to this matter.

With regard to scheduling, the PATH's SCC application has not yet been
filed. It is expected before the end of March according to the
website http://www.pathtransmission.com/news/news_release_10-31-08.pdf

After it is filed the SCC will establish a procedural schedule for the
case. It can be tracked on the SCC's Docket Search website at
http://docket.scc.virginia.gov:8080/vaprod/main.asp
after the application is filed and a case number is assigned.

It is expected the SCC order will require the company to notify local
governments of all procedural dates when the schedule is set. From
filing to final order will probably take close to 1 year.
