Well done guys! We currently have 23 players registered for fools, and everyone has paid! Im so proud I could almost cry. See below for single day registration and spectator registration. If you are still looking to register to play the clock is ticking and the prices are rising. If you don’t feel like playing too much the spectator package still lets you join the party and have access to the beer garden all weekend. 

I’ll pass on the schedule when I get it. 

Start preparing those costumes!

Good morning captains,

After some delays, we have finally set up single day registration and spectator registration. All of these specific registrations are available from the main WAFC Fools page. Spectators are paying for the whole weekend to hang out and not play. Spectators are allowed in the beer garden as long as they are old enough. Spectators cannot play. If we find a spectator playing, it will be the same as if we find a non-registered player playing - you will lose your $100 deposit and that person will either have to leave Fools Fest or register immediately at the full cost. Single day registrants will be allowed to play and enter the beer garden only on the specific day they register for. 

As far as registrations themselves go, we are still dealing with people needing to pay. Please remind your teams to log back in ASAP and pay if they do not have to pay when initially registering. Despite many emails to remind them, we still have people from a week or more ago who have not paid yet. Anyone who has not paid does not count as a registered player in terms of actually playing. 

Next, I wanted to remind you that each team has a 16 player minimum. Right now, the following teams are below that limit:

• Hustlers
• Word of the Corn
• RATS
• BangBong
• Greenery
• RABS
• Voulez-Hoos
• Darkstarr

If you don't think you will hit the 16 person minimum, please let me know ASAP. Please remind your players to continue registering. The price goes up again next weekend. It really helps us the staff to have players registered earlier.

We are working on the schedule now and it will be shared when it is ready. Please keep in mind that all score reporting will be done via the WAFC site this year. That will include spirit scores. 

Finally, we will be partnering with DC Shadow and Leveling the Playing Field (https://www.levelingtheplayingfield.org/) to run a sports bra collection drive this year. Please let your teams know. It would be awesome to really blow this out of the water and just crush the donations. More info to come on this.

Some of you will also be getting a volunteer assignment as well. This may or may not reflect whatever you said you'd be willing to do. We appreciate in advance your help with whatever task you're given. And some teams will not get an assignment at all. 

Finally, we'll be back at Highmark Brewery on Friday night and Strangeways Brewing on Saturday night for party-purposes.
