Hello Mothers!

As 2025 is winding down, it's time to start thinking about making 2026 as awesome as possible!  And what's more awesome than another year of Fools Fest with the Mothers!

The Fools Committee has already been busy thinking up possible ideas for a theme, but we'd like to hear your ideas too!  (and speaking of the Fools Committee, plenty of room for additions if anyone else wants to help!)

Here's the link to the official site, but the gist of the overall tournament theme is "get rich quick".

So what do you think?  Game show?  Robbery?  Lottery?  Bitcoin?  Spiritol?  What ideas do you all have?

Mothers,

Please start letting me know who thinks they are playing.  Don't need firm commitments yet, but I'd like to start getting a feel for how many players we have!  This spreadsheet has started with last year's roster, but feel free to add your name if it's not on there (or mark yourself as "No" if you are on and can't make it this year).

As for the theme...we will be doing game shows!  Most likely some combination of various typical game show elements, but a lot of work left to be done on the details.  Speaking of which...still taking applications for Fools Committee members.  Job responsibilities mostly involve spitballing ideas and nagging me to keep this process moving!

Also...as always, I'm nervous about how many ladies we have.  So start recruiting FMPs if you can!  I feel like we had barely enough last year, but there are likely at least a couple that won't be available this year (e.g. I know Colleen's out due to injury).

We haven't finalized this yet, but latest plan was to have a customized uniform...something like the image below.  Also (or alternatively)...tons of ready-made Price is Right costumes available.  Interested to see what other creative costumes you all come up with too!

Thanks to those that have filled out the roster spreadsheet!  Please continue to spread the word among any female-matching players you know that we could use some more!
 
And in related news...I've just submitted our bid!

Our bid has been officially accepted!  Woohoo!

Time to start registering!  Those that have affimatively filled out the spreadsheet should have gotten notification that you are added to the roster but you will need to log in to pay and fill out waivers.

Those that haven't filled it out...Definitely not too late!  Just mark that or let me know through any other means...or I think you can likely add yourself to the roster too.

Only a month away now.  Hope you are all as excited as we are!
