EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Relevant Exp.: 3 -8 years
Educational / Professional Qualification (Preferable): BE / B Tech/ MCA/ Diploma/B.Sc.
Excellent troubleshooting and Communication skills are mandatory.
Relevant IBM / vendor Certification(s) is an added advantage.
Willingness to work in shifts including Night Shifts.
Requirement 1.
WAS System Support on Z/OS
1. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of WAS on z/OS and related products
2. Sound knowledge in SMPE
3. Installation and maintenance of WAS products
4. Proficiency in OMVS, Java configuration, WMQ, WMB
5. Good knowledge of WAS interfaces.
6. Good Knowledge & Experience in SYSPLEX
7. Standalone profile creation,Deployment manager creation
8. Experience in migration, upgrade, testing of WAS, Stress testing & Restart recovery testing
Requirement 2.
DB2 - System Support on Z/OS
1. Installation, customization and maintenance of DB2 for z/OS and related products.
2. Sound knowledge in SMPE
3. Excellent knowledge of relational database concepts of DB2 in z/OS.
4. Proficiency in using DB2 tools from IBM and other vendors.
5. Good knowledge in performance & tuning, database sizing, system support, security and documentation.
6. Good experience with software maintenance.
7. Knowledge in planning and designing databases
8. Good Knowledge in Disaster Recovery
Requirement 3.
CICS - System support
1. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of CICS and related products.
2. Sound knowledge in SMPE
3. Experience in problem determination, performance tuning, setting security and web enabling CICS.
4. Setup and maintain CICS regions.
5. Technical guidance to the team.
6. Good Knowledge in Disaster Recovery
7. Experience in migration, upgrade activities.
Requirement 4
Mqseries System support on Z/OS
1. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of MQseries on z/OS and related products
2. Sound knowledge in SMPE
3. Interface with operations, logs and automation jobs.
4. Good knowledge of related software and tools.
5. Good experience with software maintenance.
6. Experience in backup and recovery processes for Mqseries subsystems.
7. Knowledge in resource definition, security and other administration tasks.
