Subject: Contract Opportunity: Reforestation Landowner Support Database – Ideal for Graduate Students
** Caution: EXTERNAL Sender **
Hi Sam,
Hope you are well. Reaching out in hopes you're able to share out a contract opportunity with American Forests, a leading national nonprofit dedicated to forest conservation and climate resilience, with students (graduate and undergraduate). We are currently seeking a contractor to support a special project aimed at assisting private landowners with reforestation efforts across the Western United States. The scope of work for this project involves the development of a database that will serve as a tool to connect landowners with resources, technical assistance, and funding opportunities for post-fire reforestation.
This is a paid, part-time opportunity ideal for undergraduate or graduate students. The project timeline extends through August 31, 2025, with potential for extension based on funding and the selected candidate’s interest.
Submit all required application materials to Frank Curtin, Director of Private Lands Reforestation: fcu...@americanforests.org by May 16th – submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Please see the attached Scope of Work for full details regarding responsibilities, qualifications, and compensation. Interested folks are welcome to reach out to myself and Frank Curtin - fcu...@americanforests.org for more information.
Thanks,
Ben
