The Larimer County Conservation Corps (LCCC) offers positions to young adults to spend a season serving on meaningful conservation projects throughout the Front Range of Colorado. The LCCC is based in Fort Collins, Colorado and is an accredited corps through the Colorado Youth Corps Association and The Corps Network.
This new internship position works directly with the National Park Service trails program on a 5-6 person trail crew to assist with a variety of trail building and maintenance activities. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and may include weekend and holiday work. Park housing will be provided by Rocky Mountain National Park.
The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This schedule may be adjusted due to holidays, training, weather, logistical needs, or other unforeseen circumstances. Training dates will be coordinated and communicated prior to the start of employment. This is a temporary position expected to last 12 weeks, from June 1 through August 21.
