Job Description:

Aquatic Biosystems, Inc. is seeking a part-time laboratory technician to join our team and gain experience in the aquaculture industry.  We are a small company in Fort Collins with 10 employees and pride ourselves on providing a positive work environment.  Join our team and be part of a leading company in the aquaculture supply industry for over 30 years.  

Responsibilities include:

• Perform daily and weekly routines on cultures (fish and invertebrates)
• Maintain healthy culture populations
• Maintain clean aquaculture systems
• Perform weekly water chemistry routine
• Perform maintenance on equipment
• Clean laboratory equipment
• Count orders for delivery

• Basic laboratory knowledge
• Strong listening skills
• Effective time management
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Maintain a clean work environment
• General mechanical knowledge
• Adaptability
