Hello all,

It’s been a while since our last update but the team has been hard at work with its submissions for the various awards and challenges that were offered by FRC this year.  The mentors and teachers are very pleased with what the students were able to produce and we look forward to getting some feedback from the judges and teams in the coming weeks.

We’re still in uncharted territory on the judging component of our work this year, but we will let everyone know ASAP about how that will work and also when we expect to get results.

The team was notified that we have been invited to conduct and attend Lockheed Martin’s annual FRC Critical Design Review.  The event will be virtual and is limited to 40 attendees due to the size of the call.  The teachers as discussing how to work out our attendee list and will be communicating that information to our students in the coming days.

Finally, our Business and Marketing students have designed our annual sponsor t-shirt within this FRC theme and made it available for purchase through Custom Ink.  The shirt can purchased using this link - https://www.customink.com/g/dfs0-00cd-nqt1 - over the next 8 days.  You have the option to ship it to your house or to the school for later pickup.  Anyone can purchase the shirt and it is not a requirement to have one.  It’s a little more expensive than normal but Custom Ink was seen as the most convenient way to collect money and distribute the shirts given our current setup.

That’s all for now!  More information to come as we learn more about the judging process.  We’ll see all of our students at our next meeting on Thursday, 3/11.

Clap, clap, whoosh!

A quick reminder to everyone to get your t-shirt order submitted! See the email below for that info.

Also, I sent a RSVP link out to all students for CDR.  Please RSVP Yes or No to the Virtual CDR by the end of the day tomorrow so we can sort the invitations out against the spots that have been allocated to our team.

Have a great day!

Mr. Knauss
