FRC Parents and students,
This week we are entering the final phases of building our robot. Soon it will be in the sealed FRC bag until competition in late March.
Between robot bagging and competition the team will be building a second robot to train with as well as raising funds for our uniforms, banner, and BOMBOT swag to exchange at the competition.
We are also preparing marketing materials, a safety manual and a competition 'Hand Book' that we will be graded on at the competition.
To maximize our time on robotics, we are going to do a direct request fund raising campaign instead of time consuming low return efforts.
Each family is being asked to send donation request letters out to family, friends, and businesses that you have relationships with. This Wednesday evening there will be a parent's meeting we will have pre-assembled donation envelopes for you to address. Each envelope will contain a letter for your student to sign, a brochure explaining FRC and this year’s robotics challenge, a donation form and a pre-stamped return envelope for the recipients to send their donations back to us. Our goal is to make donating as easy as possible for the givers.
All gifts are tax deductible and donors will receive tax receipts.
For those willing to sponsor Team 4123 with $500 dollars or more the Bombots are offering logo or name placement on our uniforms, banner, web site, Facebook page and any further printed materials, so long as we receive them before the first week of March.
Please come Wed evening with your 10 addresses ready to be printed on the envelops. If you cannot attend, please send the mailing information with your student.
