Wizard’s style-point awards for the rules posted so far:
381:1 by 0x44 — +1
A strong opening rule. It establishes the Acme Eschaton Immanentizer, gives the round a clear comic mechanism, and imposes two productive constraints: future rules must provide an instruction for using the device and must also restrict future rules. The Acme corporate-signature expansion is especially well suited to the theme.
381:2 by Murph — +1
This develops the setting rather than merely complying mechanically. The lightish-red STOP button is a good escalation of the first rule, and the requirement to identify “the other guy” and explain eir responsibility gives the next player a concrete narrative opening. The Novel Undertaking Knowledge Enforcement acronym is admirably terrible.
381:3 by Josh — +1
This resolves Murph’s required “other guy” with the efficiently named T. Utherguy, explains why the end times were eir fault, and turns the unusable immanentizer into a quest for power. Its new restriction—future rules must describe both the form of the end times and the world afterward—fits “After the End Times” particularly well and should support sustained world-building.
All three receive the Wizard’s maximum award. They form a clean relay: object, antagonist, quest, and post-apocalyptic setting.
