Mike lifted his mask slightly as he took another bite of the tart. The couple nearby gave him a funny look, but he didn't care. Even though tart tasted funny and moving his mask messed up his vision, he hadn't eaten all day.

His contact that morning had said the exchange would go down tonight, at this masked party. Mike wasn't fond of trying to apprehend criminals with so many innocent bystanders, but he had no choice. The Apple Dumpling Gang would be in the wind after tonight's exchange.

He'd spent the rest of his day and his last dollars putting together this costume for the party so he wouldn't stick out.

It was only after he arrived at the party he realized his mistake: This was a masquerade ball, not a costume party.

Mike straightened his Jason mask and bowed slightly to the couple before walking away. They'd all just have to deal with it. He had a gang to catch.

All future rules will also feature a mistake or some sort of failure to plan.

Although this rule is thematically fitting I do not believe there is a current formal rule about making stories, so theoretically a badly worded rule would fall under this. To give a final review, 0 Style Points.
