Once upon a time, I was ____ the ____ when my dear mother announced
that we were out of _____ and she didn't know what to do. It had been
a hard three years, since my father was lost in the war against the
_____. Oh. "hard" time is another metaphor, while "lost in the war"
is an idiom, I think.

In today's world, there is always more to do, more to see, more to
accomplish. As a result we all leave behind a little unfinished
business, and sometimes that is encouraged. In fact, it is so
encouraged that you must leave something unfinished for the next
person to finish for you, if you don't then you certainly haven't
accomplished anything, not by my book at least, and it just so happens
that I'm the one writing this one. As a result you may find that in
all future rule _veering from the first person narrative voice_ is highly
discouragaed to the point that even pretending to attempt to _take on
another point of view_ may lead to an invalid rule. For that
matter any incidences of _metaphor_ should be noted.
