Hello everyone
Last week the plan to discuss two chapters didn't work out so we'll read Algeria Unveiled this week - usual time and place. As I said before Tracy Sharpley-Whiting has done very good work on this chapter in her book Frantz Fanon: Conflict and Feminisms.
There was a request for Alain Badiou's article on the politics of the veil in contemporary France. It is online here: http://www.lacan.com/islbad.htm
I've attached Algeria Unveiled as well as a short talk that Nigel Gibson gave at UJ this evening. He'll be at Rhodes in June from the 6th till the 9th and will give a seminar on the 8th.
