Hello everyone

We're now moving on to a consideration of some of the secondary literature. We'll begin with Ato Sekyi-Otu, author of the classic and brilliant text in Fanon studies, Fanon's Dialectic of Experience (1996, Harvard University Press). The paper that we'll read is titled Fanon & the Possibility of Post-Colonial Critical Imagination and it is online at the Codesria site here. In this article Sekyi-Otu engages with Achille Mbembe's famous article African Modes of Self-Writing which is online here.

Sekyi-Otu will be here in the first week of July for the Thinking Africa conference on Frantz Fanon Fifty Years On.
