Hello Beekeepers,

It is the time of year when we both help our bees prepare for winter and make plans for how the club will operate in the upcoming year.

In October we seek to have nominees/volunteers 🙋‍♂️ 🙋‍♀️ who will take on leadership roles in the new year. See position descriptions in the attached By-laws document.  

Generally speaking the current leadership team is happy to come alongside new leaders to show them the ropes as well as help and guide them through the leadership role that most interests them.

Our club's goal is to increase local knowledge and interest in beekeeping through monthly meetings, inviting guest speakers to share their experiences and knowledge with us, hands-on activities with the bees, and some level of outreach in the community. These club activities can be as simple or robust as the membership wants them to be, but it takes volunteers 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♂️ to help make it happen throughout the year.  

When all these activities are carried out by a few, it gets really challenging to have a healthy and thriving club.  Your help is needed.
