Good morning group

 

I have put a couple of new links on the main page of web site.  http://fcihg.genealogyvillage.com/

I am a ham radio operator and a trained storm spotter. I received an email alert a couple days ago about the potential for bad weather coming the next couple of days.  I decided I would put a link to the Paducah Weather service that covers southern IL.  I also put a link to their pages on the 1925 tornado that came across southern IL and Franklin Co.  There are some very interesting pages there that tells about first hand accounts, pictures, the make up of the storm which is still being discussed by the weather service today.  They still don't know if it was a super cell or just one big tornado.  I think you will find it interesting reading. 

 

You can also get the forcast for your area and take a look at the radar and get the prediction for the next several days.

Ok, I understand now.  Yes, those tornadoes are history.  I probably should have made a page separate for them.  Maybe later.

You had me scared I had put an inappropriate link on there.  I went and checked  ha ha

 

There's an article on the people killed here in Franklin Co already on the site here    http://fcihg.genealogyvillage.com/tornado.html  When I was copying the stones in Denning Cem there was a row of kids that said they all died in the 1925 tornado.  They all had the same death date.
