Updates to Calendar and Fluency reminder

Hi Parents,

Students are to practice their assigned lines every day at least 5 times for students with minimal lines and 3 times for students with more substantial parts. They are not turning this fluency in, but will read it aloud for a partner Spanish class later this month. I will be grading their fluency at that point. That is their homework along with SS review questions.

CALENDAR:

I have decided to cancel one of the two upcoming Gramática exams so that we can eliminate the one for this week and simply review for next week's quiz.

I am pushing the Book Report due date to Friday and for some students who may need more time Monday/Tuesday of next week.

We will still have a science quiz on Friday and we will still have our reading comprehension quiz tomorrow on the play- Samantha Smith.

5th grade ELA quiz on Project Mulberry will not be changed.

We made these adjustments in class. Students are doing very well and we'd like to ensure that we finish strong. Please ensure students are in class every day, all day, through 2:40- if possible. I each until the last minute and we don't have any time to do make ups for students who miss class.
