[HELP] Anyone could install and run franca tools from the scratch by using Eclipse Oxygen2

Hello,

I have tried these days many times to complete the installation but it failed, the question is the kieler plugin didn't startup normally, this in turn cause fidl editor doesn't work. The best I can say I follow the instructions from Franca quick install guide completely.

Hi,

it might be that some of the runtime dependencies are outdated meanwhile (because third-party repositories do not offer older versions of their artifacts anymore or similar). I tried to update Franca to a more recent version of Eclipse and other dependencies a while ago, but couldn't finish this task due to other priorities. Maybe I manage to pick up this work again, but I cannot promise it for the near future, sorry. I will keep you posted.
