Iam moving over to Dawn 2.0 but any images i upload as a banner are blown up to either be cropped off the page or enlarged to the point of appearing blurry. Any assistance on image sizes, ratios and the like would be appreciated.
I'm having the same problem. I saw in an older thread for a different theme that making the image 2048 x 2048px worked, so it seems like it wants square dimensions? I'm going to play around with some square sizes more to see what works best, at that dimension my actual graphic was small inside of the square and a lot of it was cropped out, so it appeared as a banner the way I wanted it, but it seems like full image might not fit right.
This size didn't work for me. I agree exhausting, I've been trying to find a size that fits. You'd think since we are using a template this sort of thing would be ironed out and we would be told the dimensions to use. Seem lazy on designer end.
If you add two square images it shows them side by side to make a rectangle. I only wanted one image so I used the "two squares proportions" and made my banner 1800 px wide and 900 px high. My site isn't public yet but I have added the image so you can see what I mean.
I've settled on a square 2048px x 2048px for mine. The 1800 x 900 works ok in the desktop view but for my picture doesn't look right on the mobile view as it seems to crop it instead of shrinking. The smaller size I imagine is preferable if it works for your photos.
I'm glad and sorry to see I'm not the only one having this problem and I won't expand on my frustration. I did contact support and their suggestion was to "play around" with sizes and cropping. After about 8 hours of that, I came up with a size that fits. It looks fine on mobile but really stupid on desktop, as it fills up the whole screen. My last message to them was to please give me dimensions for a "small" view, since every other site (etsy, facebook, etc.) does give exact dimensions. Anyways, the size I ended up with was 1600x1050. Good luck!
Sure! Unfortunately, it ultimately didn't completely solve the problem and I switched to the "Craft" theme, which I was able to speed through. If you still want to try Dawn, someone in a facebook group sent me the above template. She said no matter what you do, only the center of the image will show on mobile.
I have products I need to create size charts for and I have set up the size chart page, however I the size chart block is not there on the product page. I know this used to be there before but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have searched online and everyone seems to only talk about metafields and collapsable row. I just want to have a clickable size chart pop up link. Can someone advice? have this feature been removed or there's something wrong with me theme? I have not messed with the coding at all.

Stunning jeans pattern! The fit is so good, no problems with the crotch area (which I often have). I love that there are so many leg options, my favourite is straight leg, which is just perfect. I have already sewn 5 pairs despite being 4 months postpartum with second baby. I love sewing these jeans so much I just have to find time for it :).
I have never made such a wonderful fitting jean! Fit right out of the envelope with no alterations to the crotch curve. Wow! The pattern went together perfectly and the instructions were very clear. Can't wait to cut out another pair.
The DAWN is the premier Multi-Angle static Light Scattering (MALS) detector for absolute characterization of the molar mass and size of macromolecules and nanoparticles in solution. The DAWN offers the highest sensitivity, the widest range of molecular weight, size and concentration, and the largest selection of configurations and optional modules for enhanced capabilities.
The DAWN is most often used in conjunction with Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC-MALS) or Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC-MALS) or Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF-MALS) to determine distributions of mass, size and composition independent of column calibration by reference standards.
The standard 658 nm red laser may be replaced in the factory with an infrared laser operating at 785 nm. The IR laser minimizes or prevents sample fluorescence to ensure correct molar mass and size measurements on samples that fluoresce under 658 nm excitation. Please contact Wyatt for available laser wavelengths. Narrow bandpass fluorescence-blocking filters are also available.
Optional polarization or fluorescence-blocking filters may be installed in the DAWN. Fluorescence-blocking filters improve greatly the analysis of samples that fluoresce upon irradiation at the laser wavelength.

Thank you so much, Cathy. This seemed to work. Also, Ghost said I should always use a 2 to 1 sized image if taken from Canva, so perhaps that helped also. So 600x300px, or 400x200 etc. Just mentioning in case its relevant for other users. Really appreciate the quick & detailed response!
Oops, I did it again. I got another Christy Dawn dress! You may remember that I recently posted my Scarlet Dress review. Well, right after I got the Scarlett Dress I picked up the famous Dawn Dress! The Dawn Dress from Christy Dawn has been on my wish list for awhile because of the classic style and variety of colors and patterns that it comes in. So when I had more ThredUp credits to cash in I chose to get a gift card to Christy Dawn to purchase the dress! (More on the ThredUp program below).
Compared with my other Christy Dawn dresses I feel like there is more wiggle room with sizing in this dress. I think it runs on the larger side so you could size down if you are in between sizes (especially if you have a smaller chest). If you are pretty busty I would probably take your usual size.
I hope you found this review of The Dawn Dress from Christy Dawn helpful! If you have any questions about this dress or other Christy Dawn dresses just leave a comment. You can find my other Christy Dawn Reviews here:

Three or so years ago, I discovered the sustainable brand Christy Dawn via the magic of social media marketing. Christy Dawn was actually the first sustainable fashion brand that attracted my eye and got me thinking about fashion and sustainability. When Alison invited me to write about sustainable fashion brands, I suggested a Christy Dawn review. I purchased all apparel seen in this review; this is an unpaid, honest Christy Dawn review.
Christy Dawn is not just a name for a brand that specializes in floral dresses, it is also the name of the brand designer and co-founder Christy Dawn Peterson (she started the business with her husband, Aras Baskauskas). Growing up in a small town that was hours away from a shopping mall, Peterson relied on thrifting and altering those thrifed pieces to fit her body and aesthetic.
Peterson has always been a fan of the look of vintage dresses, but such dresses were often stained and damaged when found at thrift stores. She created Christy Dawn to offer the same aesthetic, with sustainable practices like thrifting, and with limited edition colors and prints from deadstock fabric to still have that feeling of specialness and exclusivity.
Their Indian partners in the Oshadi Collective then weave and dye it in a sustainable way, and everyone is paid a fair wage. The fabric is shipped to California where their dressmakers use it to make clothes and all their dressmakers are also paid a fair wage. The company as a whole is quite transparent with its business practices.
