Migrating this project forum to GitHub Discussions

Hello everyone,

We are migrating ongoing discussions for this project to the forum at the project's GitHub repository, which is a relatively new feature at GitHub:

This migration will allow future discussions to interact more natively with GitHub commits, issues, pull requests, and so on.  It also means one fewer place to keep an eye on for updates if you are a regular participant in the project.

We won't be porting over legacy threads, and this forum will remain available here as an archive.
