I have been trying to get this to work, but only get audio in my final
file- Using Windows 7 pro x64, I take an MT2S file into Vegas 10, the
file properties are set to 1920x1080 (1080p30) progressive, 1:1 pixel,
frame rate 29.97 NTSC, 32 bit pixel format, no deinterlace, best
render quality, uncheck "adjust source media...". Frame server starts
up, I have RGB32 selected, but I have tried all three options with no
change. I always get a white picture and just audio when I play in
media player or VLC. I have tried changing project properties in Vegas
to every available setting (upper, lower, deinterlace methods, 8 bit,
etc... and I always get the same output- just audio. Tried with
Procoder 3, same result. Any idea what is going on here?

Hello,

Some encoders don't "understand" the frame server. Use "StaxRip" or
"Megui". Both are working perfectly.
They are best encoders for x264.

Thanks, I'll try those- I am doing encoding for Blu-Ray and DVD to be
burned to disks for stand alone players, so I'm not using x264 anyway.
I really would like to stay with Squeeze or Procoder since that's what
I do everything else with... any ideas of what to try to get these
working?

+2C:
Use MEGUI to validate DMFS output. Fancy encoders could be picky on
codec in avi files. DMFS is using 'dmfs' codec. If Sorenson or
Procoder freaks out when they encounter this codec_id in avi file -
nobody could help it, but prospective software vendors. Sorenson does
use x264, so is TMPGEncoder and may be more.

BTW, MEGUI has tons of presets for any type of encoding including BD.
x264 can produce compliant H.264 for BD for quite a while now.
