shipping a jerrycan of methanol might pose a slight problem though.
Making your own gasfluxer is quite doable though, leaving out all the valves (which clog) makes it much easier
I get my gasflux from http://www.bronlastechniek.nl/

I just built a gas fluxer. I have the intention of offering a simplified version made of stainless in the next year or so. It will be easy to maintain, sized right for our purposes and won’t cost as much as existing equipment.

I don’t really have a drawing for this one…In that I just kind of fabbed it out of my head.
The real version will have a flat top and bottom. Be stainless so that it reduces corrosion. Have a way to break the unit open to clean it out and have standardized fittings that most can get at a local hardware store.
They are pretty easy to build really. My biggest hurdle is that gas flux itself is extremely volatile and finding hose/fittngs/valves and the like that can stand up to it as been a bit of an experiment.
I should have a final prototype of the commercial one in the next month or two and I will forward that to the list.

Interesting, David. Do you have a drawing, and would you be willing to share it?
