Derrick is a Master Stylist licensed since 1994. In 2000 he opened Layers which quickly became recognized as one of the top Salons in Richmond, VA. He has participated in the Redken International Hair Symposium in Las Vegas and Roy Peters color seminars, among many others.

Diann was born and raised in Hershey, PA. She graduated from college in 1990 with a degree in police science but decided to pursue a career in hospitality instead. She has an incredible eye for for detail, is very organized and extremely customer focused.

Rhett is an experienced hairdresser that loves his career. Rhett will use his 35 years of training to make you happy from the consultation to the finished look. Rhett can accommodate your whole family or just provide you with the best haircut or color you have ever had.

Crystal is a Master Stylist and has a passion for hairdressing and styling. With over 20 years of experience she brings it all to the table; styling, coloring and a number of hair treatments. She loves getting to know people and thrives on transforming her clients and building lasting relationships.

Fringe Salon is a boutique style salon/art gallery located in the trendy East Passyunk Crossing neighborhood in South Philadelphia. Located on the Northwest corner of the 5th floor of the Bok Building (bokbuilding.com), Fringe Salon offers stunning views of the skyline, while rendering the latest looks in cutting and color services. Fringe specializes in curly hair textures with Deva Curl certified stylists along with the entire line of Deva Curl products and tools for resale. We also cater to finer, straight hair textures with the spectacular performance of Kevin.Murphy products. We use Wella Color and excel in fashion color techniques by way of Special Effects, Pravana, and Pulp Riot color lines.

Along with any booked appointment, we can provide a one-on-one consultation, where we can have a conversation about your hair, scalp and nails. This way, we can address any questions or concerns you may have about your hair, scalp or nail goals during your appointment.

Over the past 30+ years, I have developed an expertise in the advanced care of healthy hair and scalp, which starts from the inside out. As Owner and Head Stylist, I specialize in hair of all textures.

Our 30-minute, one-on-one virtual consultations are an amazing way to get customized and confidential hair and scalp advice from our Team members. We will have a conversation about your hair and scalp goals and address any questions or concerns you may have.

The health and safety of our clientele is our highest priority. If needed to provide a socially distanced service, we recommend to come in Tuesday-Thursday and call in advance to make the appropriate accommodations. We do offer the outdoor hair experience, during the warmer seasons, or enjoy our socially distance facility where all of our stations are 6+ feet apart. Our stylists are using the highest level of sanitary equipment and disinfectant. Guests can reserve a spot on our outdoor patio for an open air treatment while enjoying refreshments in our saloon from our full-service cocktail and espresso bar menu.

Our salon features reclining massage chairs, private styling stations and amenities for our working professional clientele like our communal color table outfitted with charging units for multitasking. Our full-service beverage program is offered throughout services.

Along being nominated for 30 Under 30 Wunderkinds and was also featured in Forbes Magazine, her Salon & Spa has won Best of Westchester awards for 4 years in a row, including Best Salon, Best Colorist, and Best Extension Expert for 2024.

LATE ARRIVALS: Clients who arrive late to their appointments may have their services adjusted to fit the remaining time. If this happens, the full cost of the service will still apply. All prices are subject to change based on the amount of hair & services rendered.
