Study an advanced, research-oriented Master's course
full-time or part-time, in the UK and/or Germany
The MSc in Human-Computer Systems has been running successfully
at De Montfort University since 1982. This research-oriented
course has been thoroughly revised in 1998 to ensure its
continuing relevance to industrial and academic R&D.
Modules cover a range of topics relevant to state-of-the-art
interactive systems, such as intelligent agents, cognitive
psychology, distributed interactive systems, user interface
design & evaluation, neural & evolutionary computing and human
factors of virtual environments.
The course aims to be flexible in the modes of study it
provides. Students may attend in full-time or part-time mode.
Exit points are provided at the PGCert and PGDip levels in
addition to MSc. The course may be studied in part (up to two
thirds) in Germany.
Recent graduates have taken jobs at JavaSoft (California, USA),
BBC (London), Siemens (Germany), Xerox (Cambridge, UK) and other
major IT users world-wide. Many also go on to study to PhD level.
Some places are still available for September 1998 entry. For
