If the speed of light is constant as per Einstein, the wavelength varies as shown here: https://youtu.be/3mJTRXCMU6o?t=77. The variation is blatantly absurd: wave crests in front of a very fast moving emitter will remain in the vicinity of the emitter for a very long time. Theoretical physicists couldn't care less.

The emitter could measure the variations inside his spaceship - so he would know his spaceship's speed without looking outside. Conclusion: VWL is nonsense.
