"Amelie from Montmartre" - the oscar nominee - but I'll be glad if you have
the script of "The fabulous fate of Amelie Poulain" too. It is really hard
to find scripts of any of French movies...I'm not French and I don't know
and websites with French scripts...

I'll be very glad if you can help me....

I know. It was just a bad joke, because in France, we
think that the english title is ridiculous.

On the oscars list on http://www.oscars.org, the movie is just referred to
as "Amelie"... !

Back to the original question : no, as far as I know, there is no website
gathering scripts of French films. And this includes "Amélie".
I just did a search on yahoo/google and apparently nothing comes out
either.

Yes, you are right. It was just a private joke because of a great
discussion about the english title some of us found ridiculus
we had here.
We don't have any site which publishes french scripts.

But we have an "art magazine" named "Avant-Scène Cinéma" wich publishes
french scripts but not available when the film is still in operation.

erm the altavista translator translated it like this :) "Entirely false,
sorry: the scenario of " Pass " of Tavernier is gone back to December 2001,
whereas the film came out in... December 2001:) -- "
As far as I've understood this quasi-gramatical translation,
there is a possibility of publishing the scrip, at the same time as it is in
cinemas or in the short time afterwards?
Well - nevermind, if you find "amelie" script whereever,
send me an e -mail and I'll download it or I'll try to get a copy of this
magazine. If I find it first I will let you know here on
fr.rec.cinema.disussion....

best wishes

Correct :) Sorry, I did not expect you to be that much interested.
There it is:
Michele stated that there is one French monthly magazine, "Avant-Scène
Cinéma" which issues original scripts. Michele wrote that these are scripts
of films that are not running in the cinemas anymore, which I denied
because last december issue was preciseley the latest from Bertrand
Tavernier, "Laissez-passer", released in france during the same month.

That is very nice of you :) We'll keep you posted if we notice it.
