Ang Lee's "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" walked away with six awards
including Best Picture at the 37th Golden Horse Awards, Taiwan's
equivalent of the Oscars. For more info, see:

Anyone know where this is showing please? I missed the film festival -
queued in London in the pouring rain (damn, it was showing in Epsom and I
missed it by 2 days!!!).

It got the best write ups I've seen for a long while.

For any other Kung Fu type film buffs, in the US several weeks ago there
were trailers for "legend of drunken master" with Jackie Chan. Looked good -
will it get here I wonder?

In the UK, it has a January 5 release date. However, whether it will go
nationwide or just arthouse in unclear.
