I do understand your language, but I do not speak it or write it well, so I
hope that you will forgive me for responding in English.
As for the "Impressionist" in our movement's name, I feel that much of my work
is impressionistic in nature. One of the things that I try to do is to make the
image stronger and simpler, much of this accomplished by removing detail from
the original image. This lets each viewer fill in the missing pieces.
I feel that this simplification is the secret that made the original
Impressionist painters so popular. Just my opinion.
As for the "Techno," this is because I use technology in my work. It allows me
to do things I couldn't do 40 years ago when all I had were photographic tools.
The computer has allowed me to do things I could only dream of then.
I start with photographs, but when I finish, they are no longer photographs.
What to call them now? Techno-Impressionist.
In naming art movements, most names don't give a clue as to the items in a
particular genre. Most, like "Post-impressionist," relate to a time period
rather than a style.
Since I coined the name Techno-Impressionism, other artists have labeled their
work as being part of this movement.
If you are interested in seeing more of this work go here:

There are pictures here from many different places, including France.
I am curious to hear your opinion after seeing the other works in the museum.
Again, my apologies for not responding in French. But I am trying. I subscribe
to Paris Match, and I watch the news on France2. So, maybe with more time and a
few more trips to France, who knows?
