All the developers would have left, all the engineers would have left,
all the graphic artists would have left, and they would be left with an
attorney. That's not a good way to run a business. In any way, so, the
company had just piles of debts, and as all people find that, after a
while, if you keep piling up debt, and you want to borrow more, people
will say "no". And so now bankruptcy cleans that up. It will divorce it
from the French parents, and I think that the stage will be set for the
ATARI brand to rise again. And I'm hopeful that I can be part of that.

le plus intéressant ?

très très important que ATARI fasse le ménage dans l'entreprise. ATARI
au cours des 10 dernières années a été un gâchis. Il a été poussé dans
Infogrames qui était un gâchis. Infogrames avait la capacité d'emprunter
des sommes massives d'argent, et de le jeter. Ils ont acheté des
produits, et n'ont pas pu les intégrer. Je veux dire c'était comme, ils
achètent entreprise après entreprise, et un an et demi après l'avoir
achetée, il n'y aurait plus personne là-bas, qui y restait. Tous les
développeurs l'auraient quitté, tous les ingénieurs seraient partis,
tous les graphistes seraient partis, et ils seraient restés avec un
avocat. Ce n'est pas une bonne façon de gérer une entreprise. De telle
manière que, l'entreprise n'avait que des monceaux de dettes, et comme
tout le monde s'en aperçoit, au bout d'un moment, si vous continuez à
accumuler des dettes et que vous voulez emprunter davantage, les gens
diront "non". Et donc maintenant la faillite nettoie cela. Il va
divorcer des parents français, et je pense que le décor sera planté
pour que la marque ATARI se relève à nouveau. Et j'espère que je
pourrai faire partie de cela.
