Hi,

Are you planning to use F Prime's GitHub Discussions(*), i.e. the collaborative communication forum?

It could replace the F' community group of Google Groups to have a space on the F Prime GitHub to connect, centralize discussions and find information.

If I look at the "GitHub discussion" of the GitHub feedback (https://github.com/github/feedback/discussions), I feel it is pretty well done and easier to operate than the current group.

- Thibault.

An interesting suggestion to be sure.  This mailing list is to aid this community, so I'll like to solicit opinions of others here.  Are there any strong opinions on the use of this group or discussions?

From a newbie perspective like myself, Github discussion board is a good idea because everything is in one place so it could be easy to refer back and forth between issues, pull request, etc.

To be fair, it took me a while to realize this discussion group exists.

Hello,

I also share your opinion, I think that centralizing everything on the github of fprime is a good idea and would allow new users to communicate more easily between them.

I think that the upvote system proposed by github can be a real plus in order to notice more easily the important topics and that are much requested.

We have decided to migrate to "Discussions" to colocate our Q and A with our code.    This process will take some time, but you can start discussions here:
