Hello all,

This coming thursday is the next meet of the fpmel, functional programming user group. It will begin at 6pm at the Thoughtworks office (Level 15, 303 Collins Street). We'll order pizzas for dinner at intermission. People of all experience levels welcome.

I know we've got a few implementations of the Game of Life by members of the group and would love to compare how they turn out in different languages. If anyone else has a talk they'd like to give, or some project they'd like to show off just reply to this email.

The building's security kicks in at 6pm, so if anyone is running late and needs to be let in give me a call on 0438 050 887 and I'll scoot down to grab you.
