Temporary files for installation?

I was wondering-- say I have some kind of data file that is used during package installation, but once the package is installed it is no longer needed.  Like a post install script but think a data file instead of a code file.  Is there a recommended way to handle that scenario with `fpm`?  Is it something that differs by target package?
