Unexpected fping behaviour when RTT is higher than sending interval

Hello All,

I am using fping v4.0. I came across a scenario where the latency/delay of the remote host is greater than sending interval (set using -p).

This results in 100% packet loss and nothing gets printed on the console. However, this issue is not there until v3.16. Is this an expected behavior or a potential bug?
