Hi,
I have implemented kernel timestamping (SO_TIMESTAMP) in the development
branch of fping. Also, I have released an rc-release to facilitate
testing:
http://fping.org/dist/beta/fping-3.16-rc1.tar.gz
http://fping.org/dist/beta/ChangeLog
Any testing / feedback is highly appreciated! I wonder if it makes a
noticeable difference in the measurements...
Cheers
David

Hi David,
I've uploaded it to Debian Experimental and it build fine on all
architectures where a build has been started so far — including
kFreebsd and Hurd:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=fping&suite=experimental
Also a quick test on the commandline did not show any deficiencies or
other issues.
Kind regards, Axel
