POSITION SUMMARY:
Autodesk is seeking a Senior SQA Engineer to work in Global Engineering
division. You will be working with a global engineering team on Autodesk’s
platform technology solutions that are used to support the entire family of
Autodesk products. The team is responsible for the development and delivery of
software licensing, activation, registration, installation and electronic
software delivery technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to, and execute testing against, test strategy, test plans and
test designs.
• Track and report on the execution progress.
• Analyze, debug and report software defects.
• Collaborate, define tasks and provide direction with extended off-shore
testing team.
• Provide quality assurance evaluation and input through active participation
in the design, development, and end user testing of the applications.
• Design, implement and maintain testing automations.
• Conduct feature testing, regression testing, boundary testing, and performance
testing.
• Provide troubleshooting and support to developers, product teams, and
technical support.
• Work with large, functionally diverse product teams consisting of software
architects, developers, customers, and managers, to analyze and solve key feature
compatibility issues in Autodesk products.
• Estimate time requirements for assigned projects. Deliver assignments on
time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards.
• Innovate and highlight new processes and tools for continuous team
improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work
experience.
• Good knowledge and experience with test automation tools.
• Working knowledge of programming languages for test automation and tool
development (Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, C/C++, Java).
• 5-8 years’ work experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with both black box and white box testing

• Experience working in an iterative, agile development process.
• Experience with software licensing, activation and registration technologies.
• Experience with software installation, deployment and electronic delivery
technologies.
