Position title: Backend Synthesis Engineer

Description:
The incumbent will be involved in design Implementation (RTL2GDSII flow) of products related to Engine control , Safety(including airbag) , Body, Chassis and Advanced Driver Assistance System(ADAS) for futuristic cars from the stable of leading car manufacturers ( Eg-Daimler,-Benz, BMW, VOLVO)
Apart from the obvious challenge of reducing Area, mask re spin, consumption and increasing performance, other challenges include complying to ASIL-D safety standard, striving for zero PPM, crypto subsystem leveraging e-Flash etc
Desired Competencies are –
· Knowledge of full RTL to GDSII flow ( Synthesis, STA, Floorplan, CTS, PnR, DRC/LVS, SI, IR Drop )
· Hands-on experience with synopsys and Cadence Synthesis/STA and/or PnR tools
· Should have good understanding of verilog/VHDL
· Exposure to low power techniques
· Knowledge of tcl and perl scripting is a must
Qualification & Experience
· B.Tech/M.Tech (electronics)- (Premier Colleges, Good Academic credentials is must, in class 10th & 12th - 70 % & above, Graduation/Post Graduation - 7 & above CGPA)

Position title: Hardware Design Engineer
Description:
Design of complex IPs sub-systems for next generation Set Top Box SoCs.
IP designer position is required for design and development of complex IP sub-systems used for STB SoCs. The candidate should have good knowledge of Digital IP design development process and ability to work in depth on specification and micro-architecture of the required sub-system.
The incumbent will be responsible for the design and development of complex IP sub-systems. This includes understanding the specifications, proposing an optimal micro-architecture and its implementation (power, performance and area optimized). He/She will work closely with IP and SoC architects, verification, validation and driver development teams.
Skills Required
Must have skills:
· Good knowledge of Digital IP design development process
· Ability to work in depth on specification and micro-architecture.
· Hands on experience on RTL development as well as FE tools such as Synthesis, STA, Formal equivalence etc is needed.
Good to have skills:
· Prior experience in complex IP sub-system design in memory controllers (DDR, Flash) or high speed interfaces (USB, PCIe, SATA or Ethernet) would be preferred.

Description:
Verification of complex IPs sub-systems for next generation Set Top Box SoCs
The incumbent will be responsible for the verification of complex IP sub-systems used in next generation STB SoCs. The job demands clear understanding of the specifications and design functionality for targeting all verification scenarios so that a bug free design is released for our products
The incumbent will be responsible for the complete ownership of the verification process for one or more functional blocks or IPs. This includes definition of the verification strategy, test-bench architecture definition and development, test development and execution, functional modeling, debug, coverage measurement & reporting and documentation (test strategy, test specification).
Skills Required
Must have skills:
· Good knowledge of C/C++, HDL, VHDL/Verilog
· Assertions, Scripting (Perl, shell)
· Knowledge of SystemC, System Verilog or UVM.
· Understanding of Microprocessor & Computer Architecture
· Good understanding of digital electronics and digital design/verification process

Description:
Firmware development for complex IPs sub-systems for next generation Set Top Box SoCs.
IP designer position is required for developing firmware for these IPs which use an embedded computing core. Candidate should have good knowledge of C programming, software development life cycle, Digital IP design & development process and ability to work in depth on specification.
The incumbent will be responsible for the development of firmware for the complex IP subsystems that use an embedded programmable core. The job involves understanding of the specifications and translating them into an optimal s/w architecture and its implementation to achieve the required performance. The job also involves modelling of the required interfaces to test/verify the developed firmware for functionality and performance criteria. He/She will work closely with the IP Architecture, IP design and s/w driver development teams.
Skills Required
Must have skills:
· Candidate should have good knowledge of C/ASM programming
· Knowledge of SystemC
· Understanding of Microprocessor & Computer Architecture
· Ability to debug in embedded environment is preferred.
· Exposure to complete s/w development lifecycle including requirements management, version control and bug tracking.

Position title: Hardware Design Engineer- IP Validation
Description:
Validation of complex IP sub-systems used in next generation Set Top Boxes.
IP Validation Engineer position is required for validating the various IP subsystems in the complex STB SoCs. Candidates with hands on experience in using advanced test and measurement equipment - protocol analysers, High speed oscilloscopes, are preferred. The role will include development and debugging using Linux kernel.
The incumbent will be responsible for the validation of complex sub-systems (functional as well as electrical). This includes the development of validation framework, validation test development and execution, performance measurements, compliance checks and certification as per the requirements. He/She will also work very closely with s/w driver development and IP design teams and may also be involved in supporting/debug of critical customer specific issues related to these interfaces.
Skills Required
Must have skills:
· Good understanding of computer architecture and operating systems (especially Linux)
· C programming and exposure to Linux kernel level debugging
· Experienced in use of test and measurement equipment like protocol analysers, high speed oscilloscopes etc.
· Sharp analytical and debug skills
Good to have skills:
· Prior exposure to high speed serial interface protocols – PCIe, SATA, USB or Ethernet, WiFi standards, ARM architecture would be preferred
