We have positions for J2EE Senior Devs. Please have a look at the JD below and share the resume if it interest you.

Mandatory Skills: 

- Should have excellent Java skills – 5 yrs minimum (SCJP certified preferred)

- Should have solid JEE skills – 5 yrs minimum (Servlets, JSPs, JSTL, EJBs and JMS) with practical experience developing web applications; across all tiers (front end, web, business and database) with preferably a minimum of two years developing on Oracle (formerly BEA) WebLogic.

- Competent HTML/CSS/JavaScript 

- Broad experience of Open Source frameworks/Tools including Ant, Spring, Commons libraries etc.

- Should feel confident in “Defending the architecture”  -  challenging and voicing concerns (business or technical) where you feel appropriate in order to maintain a robust and appropriate overall solution. 

- Should be enthusiastic about technology, looking to take initiative where opportunities present themselves – especially in cases which may lead to improvements in the efficiency, - productivity and quality of the work produced by the team. 

  

Secondary Skills: 

• Experience using  SQL and PLSQL skills (Oracle) including query optimisation and good knowledge of physical data modelling (indexes, partitions, tablespaces etc.)
  
• Experience in Ibatis 
  
• Experience of web frameworks like Struts and Stripes and other web technologies such as XHTML, Ajax, JavaScript.
  
• Experience using Erwin Data Modeller. 
  
• Python scripting experience. 
  
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments 
  
• Any experience using Open Source frameworks or different areas of the J2EE/JEE stack a benefit.
