[Icestudio][Release] Icestudio versión 0.9.0-rc1

Hola!

Finalizamos un nuevo ciclo de desarrollo con la liberación de la próxima versión estable de Icestudio 0.9

La última wip ( 0.8.2w202201171101) se ha liberado como la 0.9.0-rc1:

Necesitamos que probéis los ejecutables generados, y comprobéis que todo funciona bien. Es importnate borrar la toolchain previa (o el directorio .icestudio) para hacer una reinstalación desde cero para detectar los errores

Durante esta fase del ciclo sólo se solucionarán los bugs críticos que aparezcan. El resto de bugs se dejan para las siguientes wips

Son especilmente críticos los bugs de instalación de la toolchain

Si no aparece ningún bug crítico durante esta semana, el día 11 de Feb se liberará como la versión 0.9 estable

I also just tested successfully the 0.9.0-rc1 on my win 10.

Little remark : i had a " no internet connection error!" when trying to install the toolchain.  The error was due to the fact that, i was using a VPN.

After disconnecting my VPN, the toolchain can be installed without any problem !

Maybe we can add somewhere, in the installation process, the information " you need to disconnect your VPN to allow the toolchain installation "

Hi to all!

I've just tried the 0.9.1.w202201290101:

- On Win10 64bit - OK

- On macOS Sierra 10.12.6 - OK (Here the only difference is the app icon that is still the old "clear blue" icon... )

For the rest sorry for not post to much these days, las week I have an accident in my work and the doctor says me that 15 days of total relax with no TV and no Computer... Today I've just open the pc for an hour to see if I can feel better...

If i've added the fixes for the bugs reported by Joaquim and Alex. I've tried to fix them using the least possible code, for trying to not generating more bugs (As this is a stable version)

@Joaquim:  I have just added a NOTE that is shown when the "install toolchain" option is clicked

In future development cycles we can improve it (by a better detection of the internet connection)

@Alex: I've updated all the logos. I hope it is working ok in MAC, but I need you to check it

I think I've fixed the bug. The updated icestudio-logo.ico icon was not in the correct format. I've uploaded a new one that I think is ok now

yes, maybe the correct icon was cached or something. It would be great if you could fully uninstall icestudio and install 0.9.0-rc3 from scratch. The icon for the .ice files should now be the new one (blue background and white stroke)

And now i have the correct icons.

Muchísimas gracias a todos los que habéis contribuido y nos habéis ayudado con las pruebas en las diferentes plataformas

Este ciclo queda oficialmente cerrado....

Y empezamos un nuevo ciclo de desarrollo, a partir de la wip 0.9.1w

En las versiones de desarrollo (wip) se implementan nuevas características, y por ello se rompen cosas. Por eso es recomendable que si estás usando Icestudio en cursos/tallers/Universidad utilices siempre la última versión estable

En el siguiente ciclo se va a re-implementar el motor interno de plugins y se dejará una API estable para poder hacer fácilmente plugins para extender Icestudio. Los detalles los irá publicando Charli en otro hilo, a medida que se vayan integrando en las wip
