Teneis una oferta en Aliexpress de la placa Colorlight i5 e i9 por 25 Euros

La placa i5 esta soportada por ICeStudio desde hace un año pero solo usando un programador JTAG externo FT2232H que podeis adquirir:

Ese programador JTAG es universal y os servira para todas las placas del mercado tanto Xilinx, Altera , Lattice y demas.

La placa i9 aun no esta soportada pero  puedo añadir soporte al ICEStudio facilmente, dadme unas semanas. Lo mismo que para la i5 necesitareis el programador JTAG FT2232H.

Teneis informacion de ese programador JTAG, sus conexiones y como usarlo desde Windows en mi Github

Ya no hay escusa para tener una placa Open Source soportada por ICEStudio  y bastante completa a bajo precio

Perdon, veo que la Colorlight i9 si que esta ya soportada en el ICEStudio , mejor

Thank for that really good deal !

One i9 board cost only 18.79 Euros and for that same board i paid 57 euros in  april 2022 !!! 

So price divided by 3!  it is strange !!!

i just ordered  3 pieces of those  i9 board for  47 Euros in total ! i will let you know when i got them!

Buenas Fernando! compré una color light i9 puedo echarte una mano con lo que necesites , aun no la he podido probar pero en breve arrancaré con ello. He ido adquirendo diferentes tarjetas estos meses para cuando llegara a unas funcionalidades que voy a añadir a Icestudio para mejorar la parte de gestión de pcfs  y de alta de tarjetas. 

Una de ellas es la i9 pero la compré con la ext-board pero no compré el JTAG ¿es necesario o la i9 se puede programar sin él?

Posiblemente con esta oferta compre una i5 también para poder dar buen soporte a todas las tarjetas, muchas gracias por avisar.

Muchas gracias  nuevamente por el soporte y todas las cosas que aportas a Icestudio!

Ola Charli,

For programming the i9 or the i5 board you will need as i explained in my post of 13 april 2021 :

1- to  solder 4 pins on your i9(or i5) board boards!

2- connect this four jtag pins to your FT2232 programmer (Benitos explained it well in the same colorligth  5A-75E thread)

Remark: if you have a usb blaster, i can prepare a pull request for supporting the i9 board also with that programmer (for now i did only the FT2232)

Acabo de descubrir que el vendedor puede ser un estafador, yo cancelaria los pedidos 

Mirad todas estas tiendas tienen algo en comun

En la parte de Especificaciones aparece una RaspBerry PI ZERO 2 W.  y no concide con la descripcion del producto

Que 6 tiendas distintas hagan lo mismo huele a engaño

A ver si te envian eso en ves de la FPGA

Yo la i9 ya la tengo y cogí una i5 en esta:

el paquet  4 (el de la i5 con la extension board), en principio en mi caso pone que ya ha sido enviada así que si me han  mandado una pi zero..... en fin a ver, crucemos dedos y si no a reclamar aunque en aliexpress ya me ha pasado dos veces de compar, en un caso mandarme otra cosa como en este caso y en otra ocasión, no recibir nada y en ambos casos no pude recuperar el dinero.

En fin , a ver si hay suerte y llega todo bien.

I had twice a problem with an alliexpress seller and both times i got my money back by aliexpress! So let us wait !!

Hello guys,

Little update on my purchase!

Apparently the seller attached a wrong/fake DHL shipment numbers (with a destination in France but at 400km from my house). And the parcel arrived in that destination city this morning!

i just contacted him to make the remark!

i will wait for his reply (around 48h, to show to Aliexpress, that i tried to solve the issue with the seller)

and then i will open a dispute on Aliexpress asking for a full refund !

I already had once this "fake dhl number" case and Aliexpress processed the refund!

here is a link about that type of "scam"

So for those who ordered, be prepared to go trough the same quite easy steps :

- ask precision to the seller about what is going on with your shipment!

- open a dispute on Aliexpress, supplying them some screenshots ( dhl tracking (showing the wrong destination), communications with that shitty seller :-),...)

- and of course, never click on the "confirm reception" button!  ;-)

Remark: my shitty seller/scammer is not anymore present on Aliexpress under is initial name( Pamella Janeway )!

I am supposing that Aliexpress detected him and renamed it under a standard name" Shop1102324054 Store " for the follow up of the problematic orders already made (like mine)!

But that store has no more items available to sell now !

Fucking hell people! he would like to take 10€ for his face!

Hello my friends! Aliexpress has interceded and I got my refund, but I lose about €5 (I don't understand why, but Aliexpress indicates a full refund even though it doesn't refund the full cost).

Anyway, with this I am happy and I will buy a colorlight 5 in MUse labs that delivered me the 9 perfectly. I want to have this plate as soon as possible to collaborate with you.

Well for the 5 Euros, it is a bit strange! Maybe send them an email for asking why !

Here, i have to wait 4 more days before asking for a refund (10 days after the order as been made)

As you wrote, to purchase those ECP5 boards "Muse Lab" is a safe place !

You could accelerate the process if you talk with the chatbot and after several questions appear one option that in engish should be sound as "abnormal transport information" or something similar,.

After that, the chatbot put a link to open a dispute, but this link doesn't work (appears an aliexpress bug), but after you click if you return you could open a dispute inmediately (try after five minutes after you click the link).

Yes, it's been a week or so since I got the money back, losing two euros on the way. I did not want to negotiate with the seller and wait until the end. In the end it did not matter to negotiate the return than with aliexpress, the scam ended with about two euros.

I missed a plane once and instead of getting depressed I went downtown and bought myself a stereo.

With what happened, it has happened to me similar. I bought all this.

Among those toys is the UDA1334, to one day experiment with sound.

I won't be touching any of this for many months, but I wanted to have it. I have a lot of unfinished business to finish first, and when I do, I want to try other boards and catch up.

Fernando: I already have a project in mind with the subject of sound. I want to play with memoryless Xor gates, via a shift register to create pseudo-randomness. Creating something random is impossible (you would have to get into quantum issues, listen to the noise of a diode for example). And with important toys... it's a subject I need to learn and I'm completely blank.

For not starting fully from zero, we can start from the UDA1334A  i2S module work made in april 2022 by Fernando (Benitos) !

Democrito already have that module (see his earlier post) and Fernando too probably !

 i will get on too!

-And then we can add function to send digital sound to that chip!
