In a world filled with chaos,
we pray because prayer is the antidote to anxiety
There simply is no greater work, no greater calling,
no greater ministry than that of intercessory prayer.

Requested by – Cathie Burns
For – Her brother-in-law Barry
Prayer for – Dear Church family: I'm seeking prayers for my brother-in-law Barry, who lives with my sister Judy in New Jersey. He has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He is already having memory and judgment issues and the prognosis is not
good. However, radiation can shrink this type of tumor and is often combined with chemo. Barry has chosen to pursue this treatment, which was scheduled to start this week. Unfortunately he is now back in the hospital for heart and blood pressure issues
and thus, everything is delayed.
Please pray for Barry and his family for strength, comfort, healing and clarity with regard to decision making as well as for the wisdom, expertise and skill of his doctors.
Thank you, prayer warriors,

Requested by – Jeanie Holt
For – Prayer Chain Update for Janet Yun
Prayer for – Janet appreciates everyone praying for her, and believes one can never have too many prayers for any situation. She had a post op appointment at Enloe in Chico on Friday. The X-rays indicated that everything seems to be healing well, but she was
told it may take up to a year for full recovery. She has continued to struggle with pain but was concerned about the opioids she was taking and had successfully weaned herself off of them. At the appointment, they could tell that she was still experiencing
a great deal of pain and prescribed a new schedule of pain meds, none of which are opioids. Please pray that this new regimen will help alleviate the pain so that she can heal better.

For – Prayers for my nephew Brook (Connie's son)
Prayer for – A couple weeks ago a rock hit Brook in the foot while he was weed eating, there was great swelling and the x-ray did show breaks in the bone. He has been wearing a orthopedic boot. Yesterday he had surgery at the Patients Hospital on Eureka Way.
The following is the update Connie text us. Keep him in your prayers. Nancy Streeter
Dr. Martini just now came in to talk to me. Surgery took longer because big

Requested by – Jeanie Holt
For – Al Briones
Prayer for – Al has been hospitalized for GI problems. This is a flare-up of an ongoing condition, and he has weathered this before; as he says, “it’s not my first rodeo”. He is in positive spirits, but has asked for no visitors so he can rest and recuperate
faster. Please pray for a swift recovery and for him to feel God’s presence surrounding him. He believes that prayers are the best medicine, and hopes to be out soon.
