Prayer – Gram from the First Presbyterian Church of Redding
Serving Christ & Community since November 17, 1878
147 Years in Redding, California
In a world filled with chaos,
we pray because prayer is the antidote to anxiety
There simply is no greater work, no greater calling,
no greater ministry than that of intercessory prayer.

Requested by – Tina Teuscher
For - Her Mother and family
Prayer for – Can you please pray for my mom and dad. My mom is 79 years old and found out six months ago that she had cancer. She had her bladder removed in August, they told us they got all the cancer, but they didn’t. She now has Stage 4 cancer, and they
have informed us that there is really nothing they can do. My parents have been married for 63 years. My dad is not taking this very well. My mom is in Stanford Hospital and will most likely need to be in a nursing facility until she passes. This
is going to be very hard on our family. If we had home health care or Hospice in Trinity County she could come home, but we don’t.
My mom needs prayer that the Lord would take her home, unless of course he wants to perform a miracle… that would be awesome! And my dad needs prayer for peace and comfort and to know that my mom will be with the Lord.
Please pray for my brother and I as we love our parents through this horrible disease.
Thank you, Tina Teuscher
Note from Larry Whitehead. Tina is the Administrative Assistant, Secretary, at the Centerville Community Services District. Water District in Centerville where I live. I have worked with Tina for many years.

For – Praise & Prayer Update for Janet Yun
Praise & Prayer for - PTL that Janet is now home. There was some question about release to rehab, but the surgeon said she is functioning at a high level, and could go home. She’s doing alright, but needs to stay on top of her pain meds as she still is experiencing
a lot of post-surgery pain. Give thanks that all went well, and that she’s home, but please continue to pray for her recovery. She appreciates all your concern and prayers.

For – Update for Janet Yun
Prayer for – Praise God, Janet is finally having her surgery this week! This has been a very long process, with unexpected delays. She will now have the first of the two-part surgery on Tuesday, December 16th at Enloe Medical Center in Chico. The second stage
will be later in the week.
Please keep Janet in your prayers that all goes well with both surgeries. Pray for skill, wisdom, and discernment for the surgeon and those caring for her. Pray especially for a good recovery and alleviation of the pain she has been enduring. Travel mercies
for those providing transportation to and from Chico for the surgery and follow-up appointments would also be appreciated.
