In a world filled with chaos,
we pray because prayer is the antidote to anxiety
There simply is no greater work, no greater calling,
no greater ministry than that of intercessory prayer.

For – Praise & Prayer Update for Janet Yun
Praise & Prayer for - PTL that Janet is now home. There were some questions about release to rehab, but the surgeon said she is functioning at a high level and could go home. She’s doing alright but needs to stay on top of her pain meds as she still is experiencing
a lot of post-surgery pain. Give thanks that all went well, and that she’s home, but please continue to pray for her recovery. She appreciates all your concern and prayers.

For – Update for Janet Yun
Prayer for – Praise God, Janet is finally having her surgery this week! This has been a very long process, with unexpected delays. She will now have the first of the two-part surgery on Tuesday, December 16th at Enloe Medical Center in Chico. The second
stage will be later in the week.
Please keep Janet in your prayers that all goes well with both surgeries. Pray for skill, wisdom, and discernment for the surgeon and those caring for her. Pray especially for a good recovery and alleviation of the pain she has been enduring. Travel mercies
for those providing transportation to and from Chico for the surgery and follow-up appointments would also be appreciated.

Requested by – Angie Peterson thru Jeanie Holt
For – Her family
Prayer for – This morning, Angie’s sister was killed in a traffic accident in Alturas. Angie believes her sister was more than likely killed instantly as it was a semi vs SUV situation. Her grandchildren were in the vehicle also but were unharmed. Her sister
was 56 years old and has two sons. Angie says she was “the most devout Christian I know and one of the most beautiful souls ever. She is for sure in her favorite place now with her Lord.” Praise be to God for that comfort.
Please pray for all of the family as they deal with their loss and the aftermath of this tragedy, especially at this time of year.

Prayer for – Some good news! 😊
Praise update for Alastair Rundle:
Just in from Catherine…Although there were a few tricky bits to Alistair’s surgery, they were able to implant the new device exactly as it should be. She’s with him in Recovery now and things look positive.
Our God is indeed good and faithful! They are grateful for all the love and prayers. Please continue praying that all goes well with his healing.

Prayer for – Alastair’s much-awaited surgery is scheduled for this Thursday at 9AM at the Enloe Medical Center in Chico. The surgeon says if all goes as planned, he can be discharged on Friday. Prayers for the surgeon and all attending him for wisdom, skill,
and all to go without complication. Prayers for healing for Alastair, peace of mind for the family, and travel mercies.
Catherine has asked for specific prayers as Joy woke up with a stomach virus today and we need to pray that it stays away from the rest of the family, especially Alastair.

For – Her cousin, Donna
Prayer for – My cousin Donna, was hospitalized for what they initially thought was a small stroke. They have ruled that out, but are keeping her in the hospital for tests, as something else has been found. Prayers for wisdom for the doctors, for a good treatment
plan if needed, and for Donna to have patience, as she is not one to sit still.
