In a world filled with chaos,
we pray because prayer is the antidote to anxiety
There simply is no greater work, no greater calling,
no greater ministry than that of intercessory prayer.

A Prayer for - Our Nation in Turmoil
Lord, during this time of turmoil and unrest in our nation, a prayer is offered. The polarization, distrust, and challenges that threaten unity are grieved.
Divine intervention is requested to calm hearts and minds. Restoration is sought through justice and acts of repentance, humility, and extraordinary love. Protection is asked for the nation, shielding us all from violence, disasters, and threats.
Wisdom and discernment are sought for leaders to navigate governance complexities and make decisions that honor God and serve the common good.
Shortcomings are confessed, and forgiveness is requested for any contributions to division and negativity. The goal is to be instruments of peace, sowing love, pardon, and faith.

Note from Larry Whitehead: Watching the news for the past few days has been very difficult. I thought asking God to intervene and bring common sense and Christian values to our nations leadership would be in order. My efforts to write a prayer for that didn’t seem adequate to me. So, I tried using AI to help me. The prayer above was written by AI.
If anyone has a prayer they would like to add, please send it to me at LDW...@att.net
