Hi Alejandro, hi everybody!

I (and we all at IMOS) would be pleased to work for that. Could you
send me some more info about it?

I keep on thinking about Ah-Lian's idea too, for some additional
project, but I always land at semantics related things. Now, either
our group really fits exactly this subject, or I am already so
infiltrated that I simply can't mentally put us in any other kind of
project, in which everybody could contribute some part.

Any ideas, anybody?

Hi everybody!

Well, they said no for the third time. I will need some time to get
over it but what I can already say from reading the evaluation letter
is, that I do not understand anymore what they want. I must try to see
it from a bit more distance, I guess... BTW, does anybody know why the
required minimum score is getting higher? Is that some kind of penalty
because of repetition of the same proposal?

You must be mega-frustrated. We appreciate your efforts. Money is getting
tight so the bar gets raised.

Some re-think to be done as the idea was a good one. There is a dearth of
'semantic' value to the proposals that get funded. Its time will come.

it seems that we have to present the idea differently to be understood by
the reviewers (or to match what the Commission wants to fund). Otherwise,
the proposal will not be accepted (quite usual case when it comes to
something really novel). The choice that we should make concerns the call to
be addressed... Do you think we should try with FET for the 4th time?

Greetings All,

Yes, may I reiterate Ken's words and thank Nick for all his fine efforts.

Maybe we need a fresh set of eyes from within the ranks of the consortium, to look at the proposal (act as a seperate think-tank) and build on the excellent work alreadyy done? At least a stage where this is incorporated, so a new perspective could be considered in any new proposal. I would suggest we consider this, in the light of comments received, before moving on / rewriting for resubmission.
