to FP7 semantics consortium
Hi everybody!
I really wish I had some clear picture about the further moves for our
proposal, but it is a bit too much for that. So perhaps you could
think about it too and help me?
Anyway, last thing I talked about was to reach the EPSS person that is
responcible for our proposal, in order to know if there is any special
mechanism for re-submitting proposals after improving them. I tried to
call many times but it seems that it is hard to get so0mebody online.
I also sent email but still I wait for an answer. So, should we just
dare it and re-sublit after having made the necessary improvements?
Any ideas?
Then, I received an email from the FP7, in which I am asked for some
"signed document" in which one can see the number of employees of our
company. The strange thing is that I already have sent such a
document, but still I can send another one of course.
Tha latter would be not as complicated, if I hadn´t decide to quit
working for DiSo soon, and to look for something else. The decision
came out of the simple fact that I don´t see anymore how could I
participate in such a project at FP7 and at the same time continue the
very i consuming work for the projects in which I am already involved.
I had to choose one of both and I chose. But this adds yet another
complication, as far as I understand it, since the whole consortium
was built up under the definition of Diso as the project organizator.
So... what to do know? Wait until I have a new job and resubmit the
whole story from the beginning? Or re-submit and change the
organizator later on? :-/ The first possibility has the advantage of
starting "cleanly" again, but the second has the advantage of not
needing to make all the papers and budgets etc. once more. (And we can
´t simply copy the documents from our EPSS-site since the place does
exist but we can´t login.)
I can only hope that at least Nina´s quitting at CITIC will not add
yet another complication.
Last but not least, the eChallenge. Under the present circumstances I
can't do anything more except working for very urgend projects of the
company, so it will be almost impossible for me to participate. It
would be very noce, however, if some of us could make it there - of
course with no intention to push anybody.
So, I keep on trying to communicate with the guy at FP7 directly, but
could somebody send some idea about how we should proceed in order to
keep a good organization of the whole proposal?
Nick
